The unwired life

Okanagan University College now appears to have a wireless network in the Arts building. This is super exciting and is what is currently allowing me to blog this post.

Today I woke up at 6:15 am thinking that I would probably need about 40 minutes to get to OUC. Instead I needed about 14, so I've got some time to kill, which is perfect since I've not posted anything for awhile.

I spent last night doing laundry at my parents' house, as their machines are so much nicer than the ones Chad, Cass and I share. Nobody was home so I spent the time having a bath and watching the new Invader Zim DVD that I bought the day before. I also applied for my first post-university job online.

Applying for jobs that aren't working in retail is awesome. I'm hopeful that I'll at least get an interview, and it would nice to have a few options come graduation in December.

In the world of awesome this guy just walked into class carrying a basketball and wearing a tracksuit. It was so, "I'm on the university ball team", that it was hilarious. He looks like he should be hanging out with Zack Morris on Saved by the Bell: the College Years.

Now more people are coming in, and we're about to get down to an exciting semester of Dr. Hull, History 218 and the magical world of the History of Science.
