The trailer for the new David Fincher movie The Social Network, based off of a screenplay by Aaron Sorkin and a book by Ben Mezrich, was shown before The Other Guys which Nathan and I saw last week. The Other Guys is standard Will Ferrell fare, but I'm increasingly interested in seeing The Social Network.
The script has been mentioned by Brian Michael Bendis as one of the best that he's ever read, and I've heard elsewhere that it's shaping up to be a great movie. The trailer especially makes it look great, though I suspect it might be the kind of thing that I have a hard time persuading people to go to. I may have to use Justin Timberlake's presence in the film to sell Lydia on seeing it, since both her and Nathan have long ago deleted their Facebook accounts.
